Well, my battery went dead and my wife put it in her purse so that she could buy a new one for me while at the store. That was 2 weeks ago and I am yet to see a new battery. Should have just done it myself but she had offered. I don't know about any of you, but I know the bottom of a woman's purse is a dangerous place and I dare not look for my battery there ). If someone could kindly take their chrono apart and tell what kind of battery it uses, that would be super. Thanks!

| Thick | I don't recall the exact battery, but I was able to get one at Radio Shack. Like Azzy said, it's some weird kind that you don't see very often.
