Dumb question, but I need an answer

I know that a lot of you guys carry the yellow handheld chrono's. Well, my battery went dead and my wife put it in her purse so that she could buy a new one for me while at the store. That was 2 weeks ago and I am yet to see a new battery. Should have just done it myself but she had offered. I don't know about any of you, but I know the bottom of a woman's purse is a dangerous place and I dare not look for my battery there (my wife said she lost it anyway ). If someone could kindly take their chrono apart and tell what kind of battery it uses, that would be super. Thanks!

They are a strange type of battery, call the manufacturer and get one, IIRC, they are about $5

I don't recall the exact battery, but I was able to get one at Radio Shack. Like Azzy said, it's some weird kind that you don't see very often.

If you don't mind me asking, how long did you use your chrono before the battery went dead? Group I play with have been using one for about three or four years now.
