Phantom Trigger Group

I've been looking into ways to create a Phantom Rifle, such as what Punisher did with the Crowd Buster. Well after hours and hours of time over the course of several months trying to figure out what would be an easily machinable and effective trigger group, here's what I've come up with...

Let me know what ya'll think... There are a few things missing, like the pins and I'll need to add another pin in to prevent the sear and trigger from being pushed up into the phantom. But here it is... As the trigger is pulled, the front pushes down of the back part of the sear causing the front to rise and trigger the catch to release and fire the phantom. Should be capable of auto-pumping as well. But overall, it seems like a simple and reliable design with only two moving parts an a spring. The baseplate will essentially clamp the stock in-between itself and the phantom body creating a very tight fit.

I should be able to get a prototype made up this upcoming weekend along with finishing some other projects and I'll go from there. Onto the pics...

That's pretty much the same idea as the Crowdbuster setup...it's simple and effective

Yep, the crowd buster trigger group uses a slightly different style setup but the idea is the same, simple and effective.

Due to the design being clean and simple, it takes up very little room and a lever action setup should be possible in the future.

For building a rifle wouldn't you want to be able to move the trigger group back?

From all the images of Phantom rifles I've seen, the trigger is located in that general area, it shouldn't cause much of an issue with a correctly angled stock, and if it did, you could always run with a bobbed valve..

Here's some Crowdbuster examples from Punisher...

Was able to turn out a quick piece of the prototype this afternoon, needs alittle sanding a filing, but it's getting there. I'll probably finish the prototype tomorrow morning or afternoon.
