| Active Member Join Date: Feb 2007 | Making a Semi-PGP I've been researching these forums for quite awhile now on this topic, would like to know if any of you know any other sites that have how-to instructions on doing this, things like dimensions, diagrams, etc. are very helpful. Also, what best for doing this, the newer PGP or older ones? Thanks.

| The Brown Guy! | Older PGP's are better, IIRC. NVM...

| Hawaiian-shirted hooligan | The newer cartridge valve ones can be modded so you end up with a vertical air ASA on the PGP. I think Big Matt and Rainman229 (or was it Blackrain?) can do them.

| bringing back the dead Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: pensacola, florida | are you looking to mimic palmers? or would you rather go the imp kit route? there are a few ways to do it, im looking at doing an open-bolt blow back system with a pmi1, moving the valve assembly forward to accomidate the blow back hammer and spring, just have to make a custom trigger/sear and use a kp type trigger block... |

Also, anyone know were I can order the rear ASA for the PGP, I checked palmers and they're not on thier site, or should I call them? So yeah, pretty much mimic a palmer. ![]()

| bringing back the dead Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: pensacola, florida | i hadnt seen that one before...now thats what i would call a holdout! kinda suck as a semi, though, side fed without a spring...looks like a stock sheridan back block drilled out on the other side, direct tapped to the valve...otherwise you could look into an old cooper-t back bottle setup... |

Does anyone have the dimension's one the regular rams, so I can base it of that and just change up the housing of the ram? ![]() I guess what I'm really looking for is the mechanical understanding of how a semi-pgp works. From what I can tell, a ram is soldered to the side of the marker and an air line is run from part of the valve upon firing to recharge the marker. Is that it? Sounds to easy.

| Pump Gun Dealer | No, that's not it. It works exactly the same was an autococker. I'd suggest first getting intimately familiar with the pneumatic auto cocking design first before you attempt a semi pgp project. Try building yourself a couple Autocockers from parts and timing them correctly. Then you'll be better prepared to undertake a project like this. |
