Thumb Hole KP stock

I have this one entered in the 'winter woodworking project'

A friend (Andrew) mentioned last year they wanted a cool thumbhole stock for his KP,I had been wanting to try to make one,so here it is.
It's made out of good ol' walnut has a linseed oil finish, about 8 coats,no wax yet..

Thumb Hole,right or left hand.

Not a fan of the thumbhole stock concept at all, but I would be happy to use that one. Excellent work, in particular the checkering.

WOW!!!! That's really nice. Can you give some more information on the process? I would like to put a wooden stock like that on a 98c but don't really know where to begin.

Great job!!
