This is basically a build up and troubleshooting for my ePGP. To be blunt, there was a lot of room for improvement, most noticeably with the bore size that was fantastic in the 90s but useless now. I decided to do a new body, and fix a few other things while we were at it. The changes made it more and more cocker like, and the project is almost finished up. Here are the basic changes. The barrel was extended and double spiral ported. The detent was moved internally, with the dentent bored directly into the body like a Rudy cocker. The plate adapter was extended to the front block and shaped to prevent any torquing of the block. Then there's the reverse P back block. The bolt is held in place via rear screw, and the cocking rod (making a shortened one now) prevents torque from the back block. The lower tube itself is now just cocker sized, allowing me to slide in a 11/16ths MQ2. It was chronoing at 280, and the internal detent was working perfectly. Also, thanks to you guys on the guide to microswitching. My god what a difference with the trigger---so much nicer. It's currently in the middle of a gloss black durocoat, which will be done Sat (literally ran out 3/4 of the way done, and so far it just looks awesome---perfect match to the anno). That's why the body isn't super cleaned up. It disappeared in the new coat. Anyway, it's a lot more cocker-y now, and looks pretty good if I do say so myself. It also shows that yeah, it's entirely possible to make a brass tube cocker.

Here are the 'before' pics. The 'after' will come as soon as the durocoat sets.

All done. After:

I'm digging the metamorphis over the years.
It's definitely been a labor of love.
Looking forward to how this one will look all done up
