halfblocking advice?

im thinkin next semester im gonna start a little project of doing half block conversions. of course i would do a couple on random bodies first, but the schematic for it looks very simple, and i have the experience and equipment i'd need to do it. i'd be buying my parts and such from JCM's and then doing the body milling myslelf. looks fairly straight forward, and id offer them at cost for the first few, just to get things going.

what do you guys think?

with shipping price would be like 100-120, you provide simply the body. or, 45ish you provide the parts and the body.

this wouldn't be untill next semester, in the fall, but i wanted to see if anyone has any word of wisdom. like is this a bad idea, is this as simple as i think it COULD be ...

Hell, I've done it with a dremel. My only mistake was using a Bushmaster bolt. Rumor had it that they work - and it was about the right dimensions - but now I can't get over 250 fps because of the undersized OD, enormous intake port and massive internal volume. In this day of the JCS guide, anyone with basic tools can make their own halfblock body. It's the accessories that are what you really have to get right.

I will be a complete and total douchebag towards any player who is trying to pull a DMW.

yeah, i got equipment like the stuff JCM has, and tooling to match. i also have pretty good experience on a mill, maybe 25 hours worth. so i dont think it will be that hard. its the bussiness end that im worried about. handling other poeple's guns, shipping and such ...

Well,
Since I back service and all of people here. I also know how hard it is to get work out to others. I could be a victim if you like. I write good reviews and have no heart ach about telling the truth. So get in touch with me and give me a few details. If you have a few stock vert bodies laying around, maybe we can cut a deal for the free flow body I have.
Later,
Blackrain
