Don't be sorry... The AT/FA discussion was bound to come up

I will test the spring/mass idea as soon as the marker returns and I get some more air.

I don't know about the feed rates. I think that you will need to slow down the return on the bolt a little or you will end up with a blender. All you should need to convert to f/a is an auto trigger kit and a lot of air for tuning.
Besides Chadders, keep in mind most fields will not allow a full auto marker.
lol id just say its an rt(and keep lpr down) as lots of places accept the tippy rts(my site used to have them as an upgrade mind saying that when i use my etek1 last a ref put it into 10 bps ramp when it was in uncapped semi for a reason)
oh and a fa cocker would be fun as a conversation peace

I tried to post this the other day but it didn't work out.

I have one that is very similar that I bought as a tinker project. Its got an eframe on it ( i really bought it for that lol )

The lower tube was chopped to take the adapter, the top tube was removed and a vert feed was added.

Only problem being that whoever did it really didn't plan it out.

The cocking rod was 1/2" too short. the cocker frame was bolted on without an adapter. It had a regular p series hammer in it. The vert feed was on a 5-10 degree angle but thats not a huge deal.

I had to take the front block of for some reason. I don't remember why. While unscrewing the banjo the entire adapter came out of the body instead. Very odd.

Anyways I made a frame adapter for it, a new pgp style hammer, a correctly sized cocking rod and got it semi functional. It sort of works, but I think the issues are maily with the eframe now. its just too damn fast to allow the pgp guts to work correctly. I can't adjust the timing on it at all. I may have to pop a slider or hinge on it and tinker with it that way

I would love to see yours in operation. Post up some video of it cycling !

There is a video in my first post that should be working now.

Not much to show from today, it was so cold that after one shot the guns were freezing nearly solid. The one time we got it running, it chronoed at 167 and got 20 shots on an improved valve. Day sucked.

I blame it on the lack of a RVA, and the internal dimensions of the 12 gram CA adapter, and of course the weather by default.

Ty call my house phone when you see this my cell is dead...

So... it seems the idea will work. Big surprise, right?

As soon as it gets a little warmer, I will locate some guinea pigs... errrr, I mean test subjects... No wait... people to test this, in the real world. The CAG was a bust due to very low temperatures. A few small details, such as the timing rod and the pump rod, need to be addressed, but beyond that, these should be available around the middle of April. (This is *NOT* a time frame quote, but simply a guess on my part)
