Nah.. I figure parts on hand just gives you a leg up... Since there is no real way to calculate cost. Maybe limit to only so many parts on hand.. say 3 or 4?

what about custom parts? do they count in to the cost if you make them your self?

ah hell i'll even cut breaks on anodizing as long as the parts are keep to a minium. like the basics body, barrel, feed, and front block asa thingy.

as long as the parts are keep around 5 peices each and i can do 2 in one shot i'll do a package. we'll discuss this later

back to the project

say this project starts the 1st of augest ends the 31st
not including ano.

this give plenty of time to get the marker to start with.

100 spending limit, spyder and ano not included

if using parts you have 3 or 4 are not countable toward your spending limit

if you use any others. you will need to find there retail value and detuct it. honor system. your only cheating your self.

As for sending it out to have it cut up. that count towards you budget.

ano not inculed in budget or cost of marker

make the coolest spyder you can think of.

Thanks Rainman... That's a perfect breakdown, and great starting point.

Yeah.. I just bought one in a lot of guns online. Should be able to sell the other stuff and break even.

Now to find parts... And my dremel. Or actually learn how to use that mill I own... Bridgeport... you win for now.

I am also adding one more judging category.

The under $25.00 improved Spyder.

For those of us with a can of Krylon, superglue, and a bedazzle kit.

...

This is supposed to be for fun, and not to blow money on, hence the spyder gun. You can buy it cheap, and even resell it and most likely get your money back. In the case of the bedazzler, you're sure to double your money.
