Just a little joshing. I no nothing about motor sourcing, except that just with anything, there are probably a few different keywords to throw into Google and see what comes out. The trick is finding all of the keywords.

You looked at alibaba.com? I don't know exactly how they work, but they seemed to have a lot of stuff available when I was browsing.

I'm just curious- when these are done will you be accepting cash only or will "special favors" be an acceptable form of payment?

The speeds are pretty cranked up on that new one, but it is a much nicer size to deal with. If the row that states RPM/v is an indication that they accept variable voltage input without input, the largest output version stepped town to 5v or so would be pretty nice. Nothing a couple of tiny pulleys or gears can't reduce down though if that's the case.

Hmmm

Interesting thread...

What about making a small capacity top for the rotor?

So, how will the parts you designed in CAD actually be produced? Molded? Cut out of stock? What sort of material are you going to make them out of?

Another add on for a 200 dollar hopper isnt going to be terribly lucritive. on top of that. the rotor needs to be taller to look right. if i put a small shell on to it would look silly and off.
