I had to call. I'm sure it's possible to get it through eMail, but I'm also sure Lori has more emails for more pressing matters. Never got a mail response on the subject.

For reference, barrel is $36 a foot, SC feed tube is $21. Don't know how much the lower tube is, off hand.

Update!

From top to bottom: Left side, right side, 'shooter' view, a view of the dual detent system, and the Ruger Mini-14 stock cut-and-carved. Notice the dropout slot near the front of the stock.

All unfinished, uncleaned, the stock without the checkering I want on it yet, and the body without the feed tube (cleaning up after it twisted in my mill) and bolt and various parts.

I'm having some trouble getting a good mounting point to the stock.

Still needs:
Lever changer
trigger group
springfeed internals

If anyone has any of the above to donate or lend briefly for study, shoot me a PM?

NICE WORK !!!!.... That's coming along great....

For a mounting point to the stock, when your make your lever bracket you can extend it long enough to catch the stock in 2 places and reach the mounting post on the chassis... Though that stock has a huge opening it may take some engineering...

I noticed that in the first page picture you had found a spring for the spring feed.. Where did you find that?? I'm looking for a supplier..

In that case...I've heard that certain notebook binders work well with some slight modification. Or you could just make your own with a roll of piano wire and a pipe of some diameter...and some spare time (as if you didn't have enough already).

for brass tubing, try Lewis brass & copper co.

Brass Tubing: Tubes, Pipes, Bars & Rods In Mill & Custom Sizes.

they do carry the exact size you need, and will charge less than palmers.

Exactly how much for a foot i'm not sure, but they bribed me to plug them on the forums. (read bribe as 4 ft of free brass barrel stock!)
