Well, minewasn't locked, but up until last week the torsion arm would hold the headstock up for light cuts. But between it weakening and the jibs going loose after a temperature change, it dropped.

Didn't break anything, though.

Please note that due to cuts in the budget, the little light at the end of the tunnel has been disconnected.

Not to steal your thunder Deus, your projects are looking great! I too have been pondering up this idea for a while now and was wondering if you have any photos of the Lever and how the system works. Anything like the KLs? Keep up the good work man, I hope to see these in person soon.

I;ll be making a second one to keep when I get the funds. Hopefully with Brassball's wood if I can't manage it myself.

My lever is the same 30/30 on all the KL pics I've seen, but it's seen some time jury-rigged in a vice to curve it to match the stock. No pictures of the system, but I'll post when I get it together--it's just pivoting to move the pump arm in an arc instead of attaching it to a pump.

Soldering=DONE!

I *really* hope I didn't break the seal around the valve.

No to hit it all with some steel wool and dremel.

I need to fabricate the trigger group, too. No big problem, but more time.
fabricated a trigger group last weekend, cast pewter for the block, cut sawblade for the trigger/sear, heated with a mapp torch for the twist&curl...

no safety, but the pewter seems strong enough, and went ahead and cut the sear to match a p-series hammer...

Ohhh, that's nice. I'll end up doing the same for mine. I've got some Home Depot strip steel here I'll use, unless anyone has a better suggestion?

My trigger will be cut to take a standard shoe, though. And it probably won't have a safety, either. I might fabricate one, but I just don't see how, at the moment.
