AKA Fan
The three way will return the bolt to the rearward position, and then will only allow the air to flow from the solenoid when the three way is in the pump forward position.

Like many mech ion mods, I'm sure you'd need a bolt with the two tail orings.

I've been interested in doing an ion the same way.

Like a pneumatic assist ion but not quite,

And it's going to be closed bolt so it'll be a tad more complicated but yes two orings

I can't think of any way to have a closed bolt Ion using the stock bolt. I'm interested to see what you have in mind, and will be bitterly disappointed if you are trying what the bozo on youtube was doing claiming that it was closed bolt when the bolt was forward at rest with no ball chambered - then retracted and fired on the release.

Nope not like that, i could best describe it like a mq pump where it doesn't all rely on each other
