Mask Paint job

Took an old black V-force Vantage mask I have. First I Scuffed it up and now it has 2 layers of plastic primer and soon to have a super high gloss electric blue coat. This is my first attempt at painting a mask (other than with yellow fill that it ;P) and any tips y'all have it would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Clyde

1st coat primer

2nd coat primer

More to follow as the project progresses!

It looks as though you left the lens in, though after looking closer it seems like you just taped off the area instead of taping over the lens.

Other than foam preservation, any reason for this?

i didnt want the paints to be able to flake off, chip or be exposed to my eyes at all.
and i didnt want to have a glare reflect off the glossy paint into my vision.

Is the paint flexible or will it chip when you bend the mask?

It flexes fine but it scratches off somewhat easy, thinking about sealing it with clear

Use Krylon for plastics. It'll work great. Make sure you do a good job for the prep work or else it'll chip in the areas that weren't done right.

I did a Scorpion and then a Subzero look for my PMI mask a while back.

I'd definatley put a couple layers of clear coat on that. Otherwise it'll scratch and peel after a hard days play. I did three layers of clear coat using krylon on my dirtbike plastics, and after lots of riding and dropping the bike, the paint is still holding up.
