rip-clip+autococker=awesome?

or, i should be asking, how hard would it be? i know someone did something like it with a cyclone from an a5 a while back. but how hard do you think it would be to mount the rip-clip from a tm15? i figure that if i start with a right feed cocker, cut the feed neck and mount a rail on top, then i guess all that would be left is fitting everything together and whatnot.

what i should be asking, has anyone tried this yet?

at the moment, its just a random idea i have floating about for another scenario marker i want to try out.

Interesting.
Unless you mill off the RH feed and open up the breech directly, you'll need
an elbow to adapt the output of the ripclip to RH feed of a cocker body.
Securing and stablizing it on the gun would take some thought.

i dont really think that i would need an elbow for the rc feed port, on the tm15, its mounted pretty high on the body and slightly farther to the side via an adapter plate. the body also has a tube that runs down inside. i dont know that i would have to open the breach any, unless i wanted to use FS rounds as well.

at the moment, i think the hardest part will be figuring out how to securely mount the RC on the body of the cocker.

eh, i will have to play around with the idea a bit when i get home from work tonight, if i can get my friend to loan me his rip clip.

after holding the rip-clip up to the rf cocker body, it is a very close fit, it looks like all i would need to do is remove the feed neck and mount a rail on top of the body.

i dont want to cut up the rf body i have now, mainly because its not technically mine, lol. i think that once i have a few other projects out of the way, i will pick up another right feed cocker to cut on.
