Today's progress:

Milled out the receiver for the new .68 brass barrel. Cut a piece of square tube stock for the magazine. Its currently long enough to hold 30 rounds, maybe a bit too much.

The next task is milling out the receiver for the larger .68 cal stripper clips. Still bouncing ideas around on how I want to do this.

Thinwall.68 cal barrel tube fits inside an SMG 60 magazine, you could make brass singles or solder them together untill someone mass produces plastic replica stripper clips.

Simley, I have between 30 and 40 SMG68 stripper clips so I'm going to make it work with those.
