No that is still the stock motor that came with the loader. I figured I wouldn't mess with it until something goes wrong.

Both of the loaders I've done this to have been purchased used so I don't know how much use the motors had to begin with. It makes it hard to get a baseline of how many cases it would take to wear out the motor. The first one might have just been a fluke with it happening but I bought the extra motor just in case because for $6 it would be cheap insurance.

If that is a normal HaloB v35 with eyes it won't work. You'll need it sound activated and you'll need the B2 version or the Reloader Too to turn off the tension sensor so it will try to keep pushing no matter what when it's triggered.

Would you run into problems if you used a "Reloader B"? I understand that eyes wont work and you need to used sound activated. Is it needed to turn off the tension sensor?
I have been planning on making a boxmag and planned on using a Reloader B

A Reloader B might work if the feed tube is really short and the stack doesn't get too long but other than that I don't think it would work correctly. You would probably run into situations where it will feed and then won't feed at all.

Maybe somebody could figure out a way to cross a couple contact points on the Reloader B board to turn off the tension sensor.

Thanks for the info, I plan to go ahead with the reloader B. I was thinking about adding a detent part way through the stack to try and take some weight off the bottom.

Awesome job,I have a drummag I made with the same parts, have burned out a few motors myself, added a ball detent as suggested above and it seemed to help,do you have a part # on the Tamaya motor?I'd like to try that, the stock motor isn't very strong
