I picked up a VL Force for a song a few years ago, and thought it was a pretty neat loader design with potential. The always-on adgitation drove me crazy so I ended up rigging it up with a pressure-activation switch from a VL Qauntum, but ended up giving the whole thing to a friend. More recently the shell for my Empire Reloader II broke... and then the replacement Revvy shell I put it in broke too, so I had a spare set sound-activated board. Last week I got another free VL Force, sooo... It was pretty easy to do. I just had to slide the Reloader board from its battery prong tray and solder a pair of 9v harnesses to the four contacts on the bottom side. Once I spliced the Reloader's motor output connector wires to the Force's motor it was working. Only tricky thing was mounting the board. I drilled two holes in the bottom of the loader tray for the button and LED, but the button kept getting pushed out. Eventually I drilled two more holes and am using a zip-tie to strap that thing in there. I gave the upper shell a coat of spinach green and called it done. It works great. Impeller design applies force at all times, but on activation it throws paint out at at least 18bps, maybe more. I'll need to drop test it when I have more than 100 paintballs in the apartment. All in all I'd say that the sum is more than the whole of its parts. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

From the sound of it, I'm sure it will be a stout little hopper for a little money and time that was put into it.

I did somewhat of the same thing with a spare 9v revolution board and made a iForce, I loved it.

Leafy did this but with a halo b board. Also appears you replaced the stock paddles with an eggy impeller. His worked ok but would still occasionally jam with reballs. I have a VL EyeForce with the eggy impeller I keep around for reball.

| ophthalmotropic | After a quick look at the manuals, it seems the force came with eggy style impellers whereas the eyeforce came with hard plastic ones.
