Kneel before Zod (Ion based rifle)

We shall nail the future on your palm,
The meek shall not inherit the earth.
You shall all die alone.
Only we can judge a warrior.

Ok I modified a song from How I became the Bomb. But this is my Ion sniper project i've been wanting to do for a while. It's based off the Longbow Ion kit but I'm just a poor boy. So I've decided to make my own and add some other style to it.

Everybody knows what an Ion looks like so I'll spare that picture. I wanted a single trigger frame that didn't have a integrated Reg adapter. I didn't have one so I decided to make one.

Before.

And as far as I got today. I was super busy at work with the making of Christmas presents on break.

I plan on making a stock from some 3/8" or 1/2" round aluminum stock by bending it 90* down and making a bracket to clamp a butt padd on it. Then clamp it to a bracket that bolts to the frame. My goal is to have a fully adjustable both height and length.

It will be pneumatic, probably run off CO2 with a decent reg, have a 20 round springfeed, and a custom raincover.

What you think?

Yes, if it's 12-grams.

Tank+Stock=cumbersome and remote line-only setups can only be used by people who have and use them

I like the way Disco has his SP1 setup. This will be a fun gun. I have a Phantom for the lightweight run and gun.

Nice start, looks good.

Is there a build thread somewhere for Disco's SP1?

Single triggered the frame and made a base for the stock.

I started chopping up one of my frames last night for a single trigger conversion. I wish they came with a modular trigger guard to begin with.
