Its an old WGP bull barrel with a little work. I miss that gun but I love what you are doing with it. Glad it went to a good home.

Bull barrel that I trimmed down on the lathe and that was Freak bored at some point (I believe by Super_Stanchy). The full length 1" OD looks better than any other barrel I've seen on these guns, IMO.

Funny you should mention- I haven't gotten as far as I'd have liked due to a lack of fundage (someone buy the other damn DRV in my sig, PLEASE!!) but last night I finally got around to getting the front sight permanently mounted via split-pin and also got the rail mounted to the gun. I should be able to have pics by the end of the weekend since I should finally be getting my real camera back today.

Still need the right sized screws to mount the rear sight (ordered 6-32 cone heads and they ended up being too big to seat in the conical mounting hole on the sight... need to order some size 4 and size 2's and see what works), then it will at least be usable as-is.

The wood grips are going to take some time... I keep exploring ways to mount them but it's getting to be a real chore figuring out a method that doesn't compromise something. Making custom full replacement wood grips for the stock design is starting to look like a better and better idea in all honesty.

You ORDERED 6-32 oval heads????? You must have hundreds wherever you live. Unless you live in a swimming pool.

Shave down the stock grips all the way to the bucket changer and mount the wood ones to them?

At one point I was going to get Robertsr to try making a mold, and do an entirely new grip. Faux wood, faux ivory, his shell like ones, etc.

Sometimes I just don't understand what you canuckians post Huh? I got a small box of 50, figured I'd have them for whatever other project might need them down the line. The normal selection at work rarely includes anything smaller than 10-32. And the local home depot/lowes have an absolutely horrid selection of fasteners so I don't even bother looking any more.

It just doesn't work for getting the angle/gap that I want between the trigger guard and the grip. I'm trying to pull the whole thing back a little bit so that I can get my middle finger tucked up practically right behind the trigger guard, which you can't do with the stock grips since they're so close.
