To increase velocity in bows, you must use pulleys, or decrease the tip of the limb weight or make it more aerodynamic. I will see if I can modify my weak bow to shot paintballs. Ty

I'd rather run with an air plunger, Mount it right behind the ball, put a poppet between them and set the spring strength so that the poppet opens once theres a couple hundred psi in the chamber. Basically running a cocker valve with the air going backwards. It would be more efficient to use a pcp but we're not using actual air so I dont think it would matter (though you could reduce draw strength if you did that). So what if we're compressing the air at 30% efficiency, you wont make a bow design that can reach 300 fps spring velocity any more efficient.
