| Seasoned Member Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Next to the salt | When I polished PGP I used 600 1000 #0000 extra fine steel wool. That steel wool is amazing stuff, be sure to get #0000 exrta fine it makes the brass a mirror. I could have almost gone from the 600 to the wool. .

| MCB Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Southern Maine | This one I just sprayed with oven-cleaner, scrubbed with #0000 dish scrubbies. Then polished with "Gun-Brite" using a papertowel: ![]() This one I oven-cleaned, and scrubbed, but have not polished yet: ![]() With alot of work, it can have a near-mirror finish, and look really nice. However, that finish never lasts. nick
