CA custom kp stock?

I was wondering if anyone has ever made a stock for a kp that contained the air source in it and still retained the ability to be run by 12 grams? could i use a dummy 12 gram and run either a braided hose or a macroline back to the stock and then run it inside the stock to a asa and have a 3.5 oz tank co2 tank that could screw in fit inside the stock? would that be possible or has anyone attempted it?

Yes it would be possible but I warn you it is very difficult to get a 3.5oz tank in the wood stocks, they end up vary thin where the ASA is. if you chose to run a convertible air source gun it may be worth your time to get one or two of the 1/8" npt ball valves from Palmer's and leaving most of the system intact (insta-pierce off the back of an adapter) so that you can select between systems without removing either one.

If you're making the stock from scratch then you can leave the butt of it thicker to accomodate a 3.5oz tank without having the walls as thin as they would be with a regular KP stock.

Just slap on a tank bracket and run a 12 gram adaptor. Simply drop the tank and adaptor (leave the bracket on if you like) and run 12s.

I've contacted scarecrow about a tank in stock gun that uses a dummy cartridge. The switch back to 12 grams when I'm using a pirate stock should be as simple as disconnecting and removing the dummy.

The 3.5 in the stock is makes the back of the stock a little thick for my tastes. Mine is convertible, or would be by removing the dummy and ASA.
