My 98C sniper

This was a project that I wanted to do for a while and all the pieces finally fell together. There are more pics in my gallery. The stock is from a Gamo pellet gun found at a yard sale. The syn stock was easy to chisel away where needed. Thanks to Dad for the use of the sander and hacksaw to mod the 98C. Dad also came up with the stainless "plug" to help screw it to the stock. The final thing is to give it some gas. I'd like to do it through the stock but it might end up just in front of the trigger.

That is a very nice looking tactical marker. I am getting ready to do the same thing with my stingray, but I need to find a nice stock. I like that one, but I might be forced to fabricate my own, from scratch. I can't see spending 30 bucks on a pellet gun, then rip it apart for the stock... It just seems like it wouldn't be right... I have a 10/22 style rifle at home, with a pellet gun, but using that might be out of the question. It just seems too... I don't know... lol Good job on it! Make sure to put a flashlight attachment in the front!

I was reaally going for the "long range- reach out and touch somebody" look more than anything. I think a bipod will be next. I have a really nice pellet gun scope but it won't fit until the rear site ramp is removed. It will complete the look but I don't know if I want to have the raw alumimium exposed and I know that I don't want to spend the money to have it anno'd. maybe just the red dot off of something else.

thanks for looking

If you want to make that score work, get some hose clamps, and just clamp it on. I have seen it done like that, and you can paint the clamps to your own liking. No cutting of the rest of the body required. You can also cut that part of the gun, as you said you were going to do, and paint it? I say just paint the whole body of the gun. If you do it right, you can then bake it in an over at 350 for 30 minutes.

I can find raised scope rings, that would work the best. The scope is really just for looks because you can't use it with a mask. I have that problem now with my a5 with car stock.

Yeah. I was going to run a scope also, but it's pointless, when a paintball doesn't shoot the same as a rifle. It would be cosmetic mainly. I am going to be making my gun into a an AR futuristic assault rifle. Everything, including an integrated light, grenade launcher, and all that jazz.

How much space do you have in that stock. I was thinking for a tank, using a 4oz and putting it right under that chin rest (the hole to the right).

Mount a male to female ASA coming out of the valve and attach a steel braid line to another ASA which would be mounted into the stock.

Just an idea.

Titus, It's really just big enough to get my hand in there, a 2oz maybe. An air through would still be the best. I'm a big guy and a Quick Connect in front of the trigger would work but I think my hose is too short. (my remote hose that is) ((before anyone else chimed in))

You could put it either horizontal with a 9 oz, pointing away from the marker, or you could try to get a 3.5 oz in the back of the stock, and run a macroline to it.
