What's driving me batty is the lack of options for aftermarket, no-rise, "tool-free" clamping feednecks in Angel threading. I can get good ones like the RPG sub-zero no-rise but they require an allen-wrench to tighten and I'd like something that clamps by hand using a lever. Has anyone re-threaded a marker for different feednecks? If so, any suggestions as to what thread to use? I was thinking "Ion" but I'm concerned the Ion is going to fade to obscurity and I'll wind up where I started. The Invert Mini seems to use Ion/ICD threading though so perhaps this has become the standard. Regards, C.J. |

I think that angel threading is great! I would keep that, and keep looking! There are a lot of great feed necks available for the angel! Look at the CCM low rise, or No rise, they have a lever, I think. If the neck has an allen bolt, get another bolt, and a lever like those, from a bike shop. | |

| Lord humungus the Mod | I prefere Ego necks... The neck does'nt thread into the breech...it actually clamps onto a small neck. In your situation you could cut the lower portion off of a angel neck, thread it into the body and then clamp the Ego neck onto it. Or have a short section of aluminum angel threaded and go that route. -Jake

I'm liking the Ego clamping neck idea since those are pretty common. It also preserves the threading should I find an Angel threaded neck that I like. |

| MCB Member | FYI.. CCM make a little lever for their feed necks now.
