How do you customize a 3357 to shoot .68 calibur?

Basically im wanting to know how to customize my 3357 into a revolver of today. If anyone knows how i can alter the gun in order to have it shoot .68 calibur it would be greately apreciated. also, if anyone knows where i can find .50 cal paintball bullets that will work in the crosman 3357 spotmarker in the meantime that to would be awsome to know?

Thanks

Check your local walmart type stores for .50 cal blow gun paintballs.

As for converting one, I doubt youll be able to saving much besides the back receiver. the barrel will have to be replaced, the loader will have to be replaced as well. The advance may be alright but I doubt that much else would be usable. The valve will have to be modded to allow for more air per shot.

that's easy... all you need to do is throw it in the trash and buy something that's already .68 caliber.

on a serious note though... it would be pretty much impossible to do that without having to redesign and build a whole new gun. the valve would need a redesign as well to get enough gas to propel a .68 caliber ball.

Yeah...you'd have mill and dremel the **** out of -everything-. x-x Definitely not worth it...and you'd have to be rather experienced to know what you're doing without owning the gun.

alright, i understand the barrel part and the cartrige part, but as for increasing the airflow, how exactly do you do it? I used to own three .68 cal pistols 2 where airiakon overlords (or whatever there called) and the other was a delta .68, what makes those shoot differently than the 3357? (MONEY IS NOT AN ISSUE) i basically just need a ton of help and ideas on being able to make a .68 cal revolver. If it requires a new frame, thats fine... also, i thought that blow gun ammo in the 3357 didnt work? is that true?

50 cal blowgun paintballs work, 40 cal do not

the pistols you named are all based off your run of the mill STBB gun and the volume of the valves are much larger than the 3357. keep in mind that the 3357's valve was designed to shoot a .50 caliber ball which requires less volume of co2.

as far as the blowgun paint goes, i've heard mixed results using them. there are several 3357 users on here that may chime in on where to find good paint for them.

Yea, the blowgun paint is the only way to go. I normally get it at either Dick's, MC Sports and sometimes Gander Mountain. Good luck with my old six shooter though. Enjoy

I shall miss her so.

She told me we couldn't afford beer anymore and that I'd have to quit drinking. Then I caught her spending $65 on makeup. I asked how come I had to give up stuff and she didn't. She said she needed the makeup to look pretty for me. I told her that was what the beer was for. I don't think she's coming back...

You would have to hold the valve opener for longer and increase the port sizes for the air to speed transfer.

I dont think you are going to be able tons of money at a 3357 to mod it and have stock parts left. I would look to a full custom build and not a conversion.
