The definition of over kill, aluminum grips. Whole gun is done 8/26

So we start here....

They are 1.25 thick to start... 3 hours later (and it still needs bead blasting) and we are here. I only have the left side done right now.

ALOT... I'll leave it at that.

They are going on one of my personal guns, 99% of the time its something I wouldn't do for the public.

dang BOS, that's quite a bit of chip making. I'm assuming manual mill? Either way nice work.

Holy ****!

I just saw the thumb rest, and the thickness! Good god, no wonder they'd cost a lot. I thought they were just alum. grips lol.

CNC's are for nerds... granted I can program one and use one, I only own a manual on.

And yes.. the thumb rest is hard to notice, but it does stick out about 1 total. The right side is going to be similar as it will have the top of the grip cut out to go over the top of your hand.

The whole gun is a Race 1911 inspired sniper.... The pump handle is going to equally crazy.
