Rejuvenate a 6-Pack question

I traded for a pre-painted used agd 6-pack.
Age has the old paint job coming off.
Some lite rust is visable.
I want to strip the old paint/rust off it and make it look purdy again.
Do I:
A) Do this myself (Oh, Dear Lord, let us pray for this misguided youth...)
B) Send it in to get powdercoated
C) Send it in to get 'Duracoated'
D) Send it in to get nickel plated

I am looking for advice (and opinions for the game-show format) on what to do.
Where do I send it and how much should I expect to pay for this little project.

Thanks for the help,
R

ps do you need pix before you give advice? LMK
(And the answer is "NO" you whores...she is not for sale!)

Where would you send it to get duracoated? I've been looking to do that to 2 guns of mine.

I don't recall ever seeing a nickel plated 6-pak. It might be a novel idea. Now do you intend to ever on using it?

There was a member on the old MCB named "Desert Wookie", who is also a member over at PHoG and SCP (goes by Wookie at PHoG) who does amazing duracoat jobs at very reasonable prices. He has a website too, but I don't remember what it is.

I want to play with it AND hang it on the wall when I am resting between games (about a year in between).
I am leaning towards powder coating, just need rates.

Ah, thanks guys...with the move to the new forum I got my normal 'Wookie' moniker.

The finish that will be available is highly dependent on the condition of the metal after the rust is removed and stabilized.

Duracoat is much more durable than powdercoat in my experience. It is an awesome choice for a "player" piece.

Brad Nestle did an incredible job on my PGP and it's holding up great.
