| MCB Member | 12 Gram Gauntlet...SCA Legal? Well, in preparation for a bigger project, I figured I'd make something simple to cut my teeth... ![]() ![]() The intention of this design is to lace it up and only have to unbuckle the strap to slip it off... ![]() I hate 12 grams that fall out when you're running... ![]() They're in there tight, but they're easy enough to get out... ![]()

| Classy Join Date: May 2006 Location: Mississauga, ON | That's actually pretty nice! Good design! My only concern is the inside. I had a summer job working at a steel processing plant where I had to wear leather arm guards. When you're sweating like a pig, that stuff chafes like nothing else.

| MCB Member | I was thinking that Butch...if fact the project I'm working on is an attempt to whittle down my stock class gear to the bare essentials. That's why I didn't go with the normal strait laced gauntlet design. However, the leather is already a little thin and I think that any more and it would move too much, and it wouldn't be easy to get the 12 grams out.
