D Day OK Project - UPDATED I am headed to D Day this year. Long story short a buddy is hooking me up so i can play and his birthday is coming so i decided to make this. My first try at airbrushing and i am pretty happy with the results. i learned a lot and next time i would do a few things different. the idea was to make it look like a WWII airplane. let me know what you think. ***UPDATE*** did a second version of this and took some of your suggestions to make it better. left an old pic for comparison. on to the pictures First version http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...g/IMG_0001.jpg new job: still needs the windows and the Rotor jewel inserted http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...012_155602.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...011_115518.jpg and a little lighting for effect http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...012_155800.jpg |

Awesome!amazing what a little paint and imagination will do! |
Think the rivet effect is a genious move! Great idea!! |
Looks great! I used some humbrol years ago on an automag body (no clear coat). It held up very well to paintballs, but there was something weird that would get to it, like sun screen or a particular gun oil. Soaking in isopropyl alcohol wasn't good either. |
