Just because there aren't enough pictures in this thread;

This is the general idea for the reg. Thats 1/8" stainless tube brazed into a 1/8" pipe thread plug. Hopefully this supplies air to the reg without leaking or causing a shoot down problem.

Epic Success!

JB Weld makes a two part epoxy putty stick that drys FAST. Like, inside of three minutes its solid enough to hold its shape, be sanded and have another layer added. A whole stick went into the grip, so I guess that counts as a purchase.

That JB Weld putty is nice stuff! It stays stiff, dries quick. It pinholes, so using it in exposed areas makes the regular JB Weld necessary for a touch up coat; but that puddy can't be beat for filling large areas.
I imagine if you used a whole tube inside of your grip, it has to feel pretty substantial and strong.

The last bit of hardware is halfway done. I'm working on a new powertube that is large enough to seal off against the bolt when I put an o-ring groove on the bolt itself. Combine this with a reg, dual sealed valve, and maybe another external o-ring on the powertube, and hopefully I can sneak a few more shots out of this steaming pile of poo . . .

Or maybe it will do nothing. Lets find out!
