they can be configured any way you want. the original prototype had dual rear drop outs (these will be easier to use with Mike's new universal lever changers). our new prototype is setup with left and right feed valve bodies, macro lined down to a double sided vertical air adapter and then fed into an on/off ASA. Essentially you can setup any kind of air input you want. If you want to run it off 12 grams we recommend a dual input setup of some kind otherwise you will only get 20-25 double shots off of each 12 gram since you are feeding 2 valves.

We want to keep the basic kits around $400 but its all dependant on machine/production costs.

no plans at this point to pneu assist one at this point. I dont generally like pneu assist phantoms since they tend to tear up internals.

Ok so a few things...

First it gets around 30 shots a 12 gram (so 15ish pulls of the trigger). They are bone stock valves and springs so efficiency will be inline with a normal phantom... just halved due to the extra barrel. Its also amazing how quickly the double 50 round hoppers empty.

Second YES Lever Changers! We have seen the prototypes and they are pretty slick. They are adjustable for use with all manufacturer's 12 grams. The levers are a cam setup that is buttery smooth and index-able so you can position the lever any where in the 360 degree arc. Of course Mike being the perfectionist isn't letting them go out the door til they are perfect. Plus expect some other new and exciting stuff from the guy. Hes been... busy.

Third I need more Mt Dew. Its early. Third... Pneumatically assisted Phantoms. Would be fun. I've PA'd a few guns before. The one PA'd Phantom I've had gotten to play with was one of Docs Machine's (hence the Mt Dew ref). It suffered what I think most of the nelson PA'd guns suffer from... broken valve stems. i could be wrong but that's why you don't see many of them. The Doc's PA Phantom was awesome... crazy fast and amazingly put together. Just had to carry a couple extra valve stems in your parts kit. He was replacing a broken one about every half case. I might still get a wild hair and do one though. be a nifty wall hanger for the shop.

Fourth... Why didn't we take pics? Oh wait I did...
