We used to make rocket engine tubing with this machine. It was a combination ov I.D. mandrel hydrolic fluid air pressure and it would draw the tubing to precise spec. Lefiell manufacturing in Santa fe springs California

Ok... Here is a source for you all...

Small Tube Products.

They can produce any size ID and OD you want. The only downside is the price tag... and the minimum order...

The good news is that inserts would be about $10 each... The down side is approximately 8000 of each size would have to be purchased. That is a little too much for my budget.

On the boring barrel to 9" being a problem couldn't you just bore a freak front to the extra depth over the freak back?

If you wanted to. I am not positive on how much meat there is on the Freak fronts to allow for the additional machining.

So for my project if I wanted a double length insert in .685 and .678 you could do that fairly easily? At least compared to the custom size inserts that is.

And Rednecksniper, could you do double length in those 2 sizes?

I figured double length would be the easiest since with one Inception it opens up the options of using a DW Fibur, regular Freak front/back, a standard depth freak bored barrel or a second Inception and some cocker threaded barrel for the tip. However I would still be interested in a 9" if thats how its all going to go down instead or whatever size Inception back and insert system is created.

everything in this world can be done with the proper amount of money backing it.

Wow, I haven't checked this section for a bit. I see my thread is still going - though it died.

I am still interested, and the sizes that Ty said (.670 .678 .685) he could make for now is fine for the time being.

I see that people are working on things, and some people are being a bit vague on what is available, so my question is this: Do we have an answer as to if anyone can reliably bore a barrel to accept the 9" freak style inserts that Ty can make? Also, as someone had mentioned - Does anyone know if its possible to bore a freak front to work with the freak rear to accept 9" inserts?

Thanks for the support on this everyone!
