| MCB Member | So I decided to go MOLLE Since I'm never really happy with what's on the open market,I've decided to build. I'll get what I want, and I can always add and take away as needed. I figure this is the best way to go milsim or just have a decent carry vest. What's your thoughts? I'll also be adding a Camel pack. Later, Blackrain I'll Be starting with this MOLLE vest. ![]() I'll add A few of these. Decent price too. http://www.opsgear.com/s.nl/it.A/id....2&category=269 |

| MCB Member | The vest was only $44.00. That was the cheapest I found. The pod carriers were the hardest part. I probably could have gone cheaper if I went Army surplus but getting away from work is hard. I could have gone pre made, but what fun is that lol. Cost is withinn decent range, not the best, but decent. As of now I'll be able to carry six pods till I figure out what else to add lol. Later, Blackrain |

Spent too long wearing a vest that really didn't work with my body size and wasn't set up the way I wanted. I finally set up my own molle vest and I'm very pleased with it. It fits well and it carries what I want where I want it. Rap4 has a double pod pack that will hold two 140 round pods. Give you a bit more capacity. Available in several different patterns. http://rap4.com/paintball/os/paintba...ch-p-1332.html Don't let the description fool you. It is two pockets, each pocket holds one pod.

| Classy Join Date: May 2006 Location: Mississauga, ON | I also went MOLLE this year. Ditched my Cops911 vest (nice vest but I just wanted something a bit lighter, more versatile) and, so far, the MOLLE vest has held up well. I picked up 2 panels with 2 140 rnd pouches, a walkie pouch and a tank pouch, all from Cops911. Because of the style of the vest, I lost any space to put my ID... so from supplycaptain.com I picked up a MOLLE bit that you can stick velcro stuff on. , ![]() ![]() A word of advice, make sure you weave the MOLLE straps properly. It's not a difficult thing to do but I've seen guys who didn't and seen their pockets fall off... kinda funny, actually...

| Seasoned Member | Im looking at a nice MOLLE chest rig on Cheaper Than Dirt. Its fairly cheap too. May consider picking it up as opposed to that Smart Parts sprint pack I was gonna get...
