Rage's Pile of Poo build... 5 Attachment(s) I thought I would start to post pictures of my poo build. Items: wood 22 stock. Rifled A5 barrel with a bent end. TPX with broken sides. Box full of fittings and parts. Scrap delrin, scrap aluminum. You know the junk sitting in the corner. What I am shooting for here is to put a TPX into a stock, make it first strike ready. A sniper rifle per say. Clip driven. Here are some picture of what I have done so far. I will get a bunch of work done on monday. |
4 Attachment(s) It was slow at the shop today so I got some lathe time and mill time today. I have only used a lathe once before and the first time using a mill. I think they turned out not bad. The barrel had a bent end which I had to cut off. The end that goes in to the TPX had to be trimmed down to size to fit in the shroud. I had to mill out the breech to accept the first strike round. After taking the picture I see I might have to take it back to the mill and do a better job. Took a knife to the mag and trimmed that so first strike will fit in that as well. I will see if I can get some wood work done tomorrow or wednesday. |
Sweet! I'm picturing a paintball M1 carbine! |
I like it! Post more pics. |
Really looking forward to this one. |
I got some stock work done today, I will post some more pics thursday. Then I can't work on it till monday. I have to solve the air issue, I would like to use 12g's but I might have to use remote which would suck. Wait unless I put the 12g behind in the stock. Things that make you go hmmmmm...... |

Thats the plan if I can. |
Oh wow. Cant wait to see how this turns out. |
2 Attachment(s) Here is a couple of pictures of the stock. I burnt out 2 rotatory tools (Dremmels) then decided to use a file. It is taken a little longer but worth the time. On monday I plan on getting to the bottom of the air problem. I am thinking on drilling a big hole in the wooden grip and putting a Automag vert asa into it then threading a 12g quick changer in to that. That way I can still use 12g's and have a little hose come out the side. Should be nice and neat little job. I hope! No work this weekend, play time. |
