Smg 68 and tpx/tac8 mags?

Smg 68 and tpx/tac8 mags?

I was wondering if anyone has modded a smg68 to accept TPX magazines like a sten. Surely it would work on the semi-auto 68 that was hopper fed.

Seems like an interesting (if not silly) project.

The problem is that the SMG doesn't have a bolt.

I've actually been meaning to try a mag-fed conversion on my 68 specials, which are the same gun but with a bolt. I've got a ****load of them, and the front of the gun can be unbolted and replaced easily.

I guess i was thinking about the hopper fed semi auto 68 special (i think that's the name) .
It's the one that could be converted to auto by using the SMG60 trigger.

Like this one:
Got my automatic 68 special working!

Yep yep, that's the 68 Special. Big plus, they're plentiful and cheap. Down side, they like liquid CO2, and alot of it.

Well, if you could convert TPX Mags to 68 Specials and do that f/a mod... wouldn't you basically have a cheap Tippmann SMG .68 knockoff?
I think that'd be the quite the shiznit

Basically a left feed paintball sten.
Perhaps the milsig mags would be another option.
