what he said, the white loctite seal paste works a treat! i have used it on a few markers, have you tried a heavy lithium grease, as this can work as thread seal as well.

That is a horrible name for a thread/pipe sealant. Yes my mind is in the gutter right now....

doesnt teflon make some sort of goup too? i used it on a regulator a long time ago my friend had it.
