Cocker timing... sort of...

So, I`m currently doing a project of putting an autococker front block on a pgp. I have it all mounted and set but i can`t get the timing for the life of me. If I cock it by hand first, it will fire and push the bolt back on the pull, but when I release the trigger the bolt always slides forward before the hammer can set on the sear. I`m using an autococker swing trigger on it by the way

There are 2 reasons.
1 you do not have an adjustable hammer lug
2 the swing frame doesnt have the oval hole for the 3 way arm like the older frames.

Both of these cause the hammer to not latch quickly and the ram will just close the bolt too soon.

If you have an older slider frame with the oval hole you can try that.

I assumed the frame would work because it used to be paired with that front block on a cocker. I do have a slider frame ill try out though, thanks
