What do?

Sorry, could someone move to the Custom forum?

Most of the machinists I admire most are out of the game.. Dane Bonebreak, JMJ, Eaton, etc. So I guess I'm starting from mostly scratch here.

Title pretty much says it all. Its not an extrusion but I have a more or less blank press-fit feed neck pre2k cocker body and a dream to build a very nice autococker. I'm looking to you for milling and machinist suggestions.

Unfortunately most machinists I've spoken with are backed up, but I'd really like to do this with user input from what I consider some of the best minds in the sport. A design inspired by the members here.

I'll be taking the CCM frame, and other parts from this Prostock I just acquired as well.

I recently saw J Curt do a body like that really sweet round head style.

Yeah, its ghetto mod'd for sure. The "guide rod" is a nut, through the cocking rod hole, held on by a nut =p.

Ty, thats still a wonderful gesture. I'm a huge fan of your work! Its unfortunate but we don't have any local resources for someone interested in learning. 2100 miles aint so bad if you gain the knowledge you were seeking initially =p

I've had some people try to buy the frame off of me. Definitely considering getting rid of it since I'll be going all mech. Any idea what they're worth on the BST?

We've spoken a few times via Facebook. I hope to be able to send some work your way sometime in the future. Thanks to you and Tymcneer we have a few guys still working the custom side of paintball.. which as you guys know has lost tons of great machinists in the past few years. Keep it up, please! You guys are the lifeblood of custom paintball, and we need people like you two to keep the "personal" aspect of our equipment alive.

Eff a super light milled Geo/Ego.. I need a beefy autococker worth way too much money!

thats the best way to go at it
since its raw, you can always sharpie on it, and wash it off with solvent (nail polish remover)

i have time for it, but i am limited to what i can do....
you can look through my cocker album on sscfb and see if anythin catches your eye
