Good eye, some metal is Kar98k but the wood is SKS for both.

My next one will be a mauser stock. Not Kar98 though. They go for too much $$ up here, plus have a lot of historic value for me to use (unsporterized of course).

I was going to say SKS but the barrel band in the 3rd photo threw me off.

love the wood style markers...

here is mine i made this year.. im making my second early next year..
enjoy








ive never seen the rifle bolt being used like this anywhere..i think maybe i was the first.... but maybe not
