Any way to rethread a unibody Phantom?

Saw one on Bacci's site the other day, and thought it was a shame to see a nice pump like that go to waste with today's super-small paint.... is there any way to remove the barrel portion and thread for something popular?

If you are worried about only rollouts then consider a detent mod, as in the ASP detent mod, our the fishing line mod that you can do yourself or the fingernail polish mod. If you actually want to underbore then you are out of luck. I use the fishing line mod and it works very well. I still get around 30-35 shots to the 12g.

It can be rethreaded with a lathe but the thread type will be limited. It can also be freaked from the front. However as BigSchool pointed out it's cheeper to swap bodies and reuse the internals and grip.

the only common pb threading that MIGHT work...

phantom (acme, PITA to do without a special insert)
tippmann a5/x7/tipx

uncommon pb, but possible, 7/8-20 (ccm tips, lapco tips), freak tip (7/8-32 double lead)

for the price of buying a unibody, then having it rethreaded, you are already over the price of a new breech and barrel
