I broked it

I was sitting with it seeing how high I could get the cycling rate, got the timings working for a theoretical 17 bps, but snapped the pump arm. I had to jack the pressure pretty high to get it the ram to cycle fast enough so I'm not too surprised. I'll probably remake one in brass or stainless for strength.

The Belsales ram doesn't seem to cycle as fast as I expected, it seems like I need to run much higher pressure than I want to get it to go. Maybe I'll give an ANS ram a try, though it won't look as pretty.

Pretty sure one of my QEV's is actually getting stuck, the ram is hard to extend with the marker depressurized. That may be related to my seemingly low performance.

Going to be dusting this project off again soon, having a new pump rod made from stainless that I shouldn't be able to break. Also going to get a new sled and modify it slightly differently to keep the action in a proper straight line.

Coming back to life today

The pump rod is a new stainless one from MadCustoms and I managed to salvage the sled, for the time being anyway. I'm not sure how much more abuse this sled will be able to take, its getting a bit thin.

I've lost interest in this project, and am letting it go:

I am sad to see that you are selling it, but I am sure someone will be extremely happy to have it.

I had a hard time letting it lie:

I started cleaning up the body, and exposed the bolt. I only spent 45 minutes or so, it is freezing in my garage right now. Its coming out fairly nice and shiny though.

It looks great. I would love to buy it, but I am already working on an Ebolt and stumbled into another one for cheap. Now because I started one project I have to because I couldn't turn down the other one for the price.
