chrome

is there an easy way to strip chrome plating and will it be uniform?

i have some pitting on some parts will this be removed with the chrome plating?

Nope :-)

The only way I know is reverse plating.

Give it a google.

If its just nickel an not chrome you can buy a stripper.

This is what I use for the few nickel parts I do.

And no the pitting will not go away..In fact it gets worse.

This is why nobody likes doing parts like that.
