and if unlike the metadyne set up, if there was no gap where the two barrel sections mated, that would be a good thing

That's where we have an issue. If I have both ends of the new barrels threaded, how much threading do you put on. I dont have the measurements in front of me so to keep this simple i am just using long and short to describe them.

Havoc- long male thread
Stock barrel- long female thread
Break breech- short male thread
Metadyne extensions- long female thread & short male threading

I quoted the machining on My barrels for short threading figuring that most people would be using the break breech with a 2ft barrel. Also if you start adding on a bunch of extensions onto a 2ft barrel I would question the stability of the shorter threading and the joint on the break breech.

the breach face of the launcher has about 3/8ths of an inch of threads, the barrel has about an inch.

y'all know the barrel is a repurposed ar15 freefloat handguard, don'tcha?

So you would want the 2ft barrels to have the same 3/8 or so of male threading?

I feel like an idiot but i don't know off hand. I just took my stock barrel to the machine shop and they measured it.
