I know a thing or 2 about rc stuff (ie-way too much) and work at a hobby store, feel free to fire me a message with any questions you may have, I think I know what it will take to make it turn, but don't know how to make an rc radio control the motor set up you now have.

We actually got the RC end of it all figured out.

We separated the two voltages... we have our 12 volt 10 amp circuit run to switches, those switches are controlled by the RC's low power servos.

I have to make the wiring harnesses yet and that is all en-route.

Cheap ones.. they only are bumping a switch...

The motor were are using to steer the beast is a 24 volt 3660 rpm Crouzet conveyor belt motor that has a 360-1 gear internal gear reduction.

Its slow, beefy, and torquey.

God how has this progressed in a year......

Massive set backs last year kept it shelved for a bit till my brain could catch up.

Right now all that is left to do is finish the gun mounts, wiring the DC to AC converter for the cameras.... and well testing.

We ditched the cruozet motor and gearing due to well... it just didn't work. I am running currently a razor electric scooter drive motor with a chain reduction of 1 to 4 which then spins an acme screw with a pin to grab the tiller arm on the steering. It has a beefy amount of torque. So much so that we hung 100 pounds off it and it still cranked along.

So here it is.

Oh... one more change... Phaedra got dropped as the name because Peaches Geldof named her daughter that and I don't need to heroin addicts daughters name on my bot. We're calling it "Das Raubtier" or simple The Predator. Not new but works.

Fully skinned, geared and mounted.

PS Any one want to sponsor us ha!

Needs tank tracks lol..

This is going to be an FPV controlled RC? Consider using an auto targeting turret software?

Eventually we intend to make a smaller tank treaded version.

Right now the video is going to be for driving only, the gun will be line of sight we really are not sure how we intend to implement this thing on the field.

I have been kicking the idea around of something similar. I am working on a different sort of drive system for a larger tank but wanted to do a proof of concept first. My "mini me" is only going to have a camera to start with. I I fear that most fields are not going to allow a remote controlled gun platform. I will be following your progress to see how well this received by the fields you take it to.

It is received quite well actually, my home field is totally cool with it. They just are not sure how to use it. I told them we are going to use it more like a zone deniability tool than a strike tool.

There are also other issues. Due to range we have to be on field with it. also the turret has limited paint capacity and isn't shock absorbed so I could see us making soup out of paint.
