So why not have that the operator gets shot out then the tank is out? I'd be cool playing that way as I think I could out maneuver a RC paintball gun, work a side, zig-zagging through trees and bunkers were the RC tank couldn't go. Plus I'd shoot the camera to reduce controller visibility.

Your logic is flawed.... if you have time to find the camera and aim to shoot it. I would have targeted and put 20 rounds into you before you pulled the trigger.

The gun system isn't one to be trifled with.

Oh and if its as wide as a house exterior door we can fit through it. Bunkers are not safe bets.

I think that your only able to see 180 degree view max and my guess one camera won't give you the view of all sides. Plus the ground clearance won't go as high as a foot step or jump over a log.

Couldn't someone lay down and be under the line of fire of there were inside 20 feet?

If hit by a law, is it out?

Its a neat concept, but really it's only for scenarios. I would want to play rec ball with a person. If I was going to play paintball with a machine, it's with Greg Hastings Field of Battle on a I-pad.

Why on earth would I ever use this for rec ball?

And your sorely mistaken about you assumptions.

I toyed around the idea for scenario games a few years back, but was gonna use 2 motors with speed controllers to run tracks. Also, having one with some sort of reload system for a LAW would be cool, seeing as how I don't think one could fit both.

Find a way to breech load a coaxial style launcher, or use a really good QEV setup. That should help you cut down on size of the launcher, helping cut down size of the over all tank.

Metadynes are tiny and easy enough to work with

Great build, I'm not knocking it at all. I hope one day to play in a big game with drones like this.

It would be harder to tag this with a LAW than a regular tank. I just look for weaknesses that's all.
