Quick update, waiting on the hammer and bolt to get made up. Should be ready in the next 2/3 weeks so that's when the first proper test firing will be. This is the basic model of the gun for testing. I'm trying to make it as modular as possible so to change from a shotgun to a single action pistol will only require changing the grip frame. The body, valve, internals and feeding system will remain the same. Let me know what you guys think so far!

That feed hole on the bottom? If you can swivel the design of the tube so the hole is close to the barrel it will allow for sloppier reloads.

Reloading on the outside where it is, the 10 round tube has to be lined up perfectly, and reloading in game is never perfect. The outwards facing walls of a cylinder make it easy for balls to bounce out and away instead of into the feed hole.

Putting the feed hole against the barrel allows for spilled balls to rest in the groove created by feedtube&barrel and be rolled into the feed hole.

Truth.

In my spring feed made with angle aluminum, I made a wider collar about 1/4" tall to index the tube. Even the flat hole was hard to line up.
