Custom Punisher&Eddie masks

A few mask mods Ive done using Great Stuff expanding acrylic foam.Original Punisher mask Ive had for many years. Its taken its share of headshot and has held up good.Eddie mask I just completed, thinking I might pair it with some custom Goggleskinz to finish the effect.Used press on nails for the teeth

Heres an old how to I dug up
custom punisher paintball gogs - YouTube
custom Punisher gogs 2 - YouTube
Not a great vid, stuff is hard to work with, basicly do an rough form then compress air out of it when the surface isnt tacky and form, you can add multiple layers
I used a toothpick to pull the surface to add textured lines
I made a Gene Simmons"Destroyer" costume about 10 yrs ago with it,Ive done about 1/2 dozen masks since then

Any more thorough instructions that don't involve watching a video? I'm gonna be making a **** ton of masks this year for an event at my field, and was considering using latex and cloth to layer up some crazy looking stuff, but this looks pretty neat.

as sent to Japy above
Always have a hard time explaining how to do this,if youre looking for a smooth finished product it would have to be coated with something else,if youre looking for texured this will work
Great Stuff is an expanding sill foam youll find at hardware stores for about $5 a can,if you clean the nozzle good between coats you could do 2 or more, always get more than you need, cans clog easy.i always point nozzle upward and expell a little gas then stick some wire to remove hardened product
USE GLOVES AND CRAPPY CLOTHES
When it hardens It will not come off,it is VERY sticky!
Mask off any areas you dont want affected
To do mask, get an outline\approx shape and apply one coat.let it sit for about 1/2 hr or more till the outside"shell' isnt tacky then press the air out of it to form your basic shape, you can use toothpicks, plastic picnic knives, etc to streach, pull etc.let dry about 1 hr after, trim any eccess off with a razor or knife
apply 2nd,3rd,as many coats as you want till you get your desired shape, you can trim and form between each coat
I use Tamiya acrylic paint then clearcoat with acrylic to finish, check other types of paint, some will melt foam
You can add textures by putting a drop on some scrap and putting small amounts on the mask with a small brush, sponge etc
Probably not the easiest medium to work with,I've done a ton of stuff with it now,its very durable my punisher mask is over 5 yrs old i think
Practice a few times on cardboard or scrap stuff and youll get the hang of it
