Dynastypballa,
On your ebay auction for the dyes I do not see the colors mentioned. Do you have a list of what is available?

So you used straight bleach? I expect that you can fiddle with the time and concentration.

While we are at it, I will say that I've noticed bleach shows a relatively short shelf life. A bleach bath that worked a few months ago didn't seem to do anything recently. My tub wasn't well sealed, so I guess the chlorine got up and left.

You might want to check in with roberts on here, he does custom grips in colors, see if he can come up with something for you.

That is correct. Bleach does have a limited shelf life. About 6ish months.

I keep my bleach tub sealed and in a cool place it seems to have lasted a while. not that a couple gals of bleach is very much.

That is beautiful!

(BTW, if you scroll through this thread quickly and scan a word or two of each post, it's hard to tell whether we're talking about anodizing aluminum or cooking meth.)

Cooking meth would definitely be more profitable. people prolly wouldn't bitch too much if it came out a slightly different shade too :P

Exactly. If you're fiddling around and don't know how old your bleach is, get some new.

It's worse when you thought you were careful to mark and store a weak bath (low chlorine to start with), then come back later and try to use it. Not that I would have done such a thing.
