Puzzard prototype completed ... well ... almost!

heres what we finished tonight. all the main components cept the spring. just a couple of things left to do, mainly the proper sized screws (used all my 10/32 up just to put it together). also in the works tomorrow night is a slotted gravity feed, black pump handle, and maybe a bit longer arms. obviously, i worked on old and such beat up phantom parts for the prototype

keep in mind this is 95% done, with the mods i mentioned going to get done tomorrow.

my assistant adam another ME and a non-paintball player. -

heres a video, just commin up with stuff off my head. i tryed to compare it to my undercocked phantom and my buzzard.

price is going to be 150 plus shipping. white or black pump handle with reasonable milling. any extra milling on the handle and such will cost a bit more, and we can dye the white handle a color for a bit extra too. currently not looking into acrylic, but its an option. i am looking into an RTR based pump handle tho.

updates as i get them.

BIG UPDATE!

we did a black handle tonight, and rebuild some other parts. mainly just redid all the stuff to the production tollerences and such. the arms will be rounded, just wanted to show you the new stuff. new style handle milling, new, longer arms and improved tollerences thoughout. the handle is fitted PERFECTLY to the barrel, no woble, but a nice guided fit.

enough of my yackin -

overall, this verision is 10 time better than the previous! i love it. the camera glare really pics up all the marks on the handle, but i can assure you they are very smooth to the touch, and you can't even see them without a spot light (or camera flash)

there shouldn'e be any. just maybe a bit on the top and bottom of the body slots, and that only if you twist the handle up a bunch.

If you are looking for smooth.

Carter used to make a gun for an outfit called ASO back around 90ish. The gun was called a termite and sold for about $1000 which was an insane amount to pay for a marker back then. It was basically a buzzard with ups.

Anyway, the pump arm that went over the barrel had ball bearings inserted on the inside. The bearings would ride over the barrel when you pumped the gun and created practically 0% friction on the barrel.

That is something to look into.

Cocker punk,
Just a heads up. Might want to have a modification ready. Smart Parts made a freak kit for the Phantom. That is a bigger hole diameter. Looking good.
Later,
Blackrain

My cocker freak backs .990" These aren't the latest style backs though. You can email Davinci, or whatever his name is. The owner of Wevo. I'm sure he knows.
