Yeah the noids on TM's sucked hairy monkey balls for the first two years or so. They stick on initial air-up and then unstick until you take the whole damn thing apart and clean the noid. Even if you just cleaned it the day before. Eventually they came out with an adapter to let you use Mini noids.

I will have to suggest that the local store, who I do work for on occasion, get some of these adapters to try and mitigate the number of return work orders :/

I've owned my fair share of TM7 and Tm15 markers, and for the most part without major issues. I was lucky enough to have second gen of Tm (mini) noid. Keep 'em clean amd they are virtually problem free internally, don't get me started on the tm7 body though...

That said, I consider this marker a prototype, its name (TX1) stands for "Typhon eXperimental 1". I've started designing the second generation already which will have different internals, most likely eclipse based.

Any way you slice this, you have made a thing of beauty!

My warning is only from experience... YMMV, and gawds I hope it does

We have a recurring "problem child" marker that comes in about every two weeks, and requires a new part every time we service it. I'm waiting for a "body failure" so we can convince the owner to get a newer generation, and relieve some of the problems he is having.

Still... You have build something absolutely awesome. Thank you for sharing.

Few more pics from this weekend. One of the reasons I left the stub on the front of the upper receiver is so that it can be easily dialed in for modifications it may need and also be used as a fixture for the lower receiver.
I've included a few more pictures of the internal profiles to better illustrate how it all fits together.

Few odds and ends, Top slide end, T-handle and trigger

All that remains to be made to make the marker functional is the selector switch, air transfer tube and trigger group assembly.. it's very very close

Out of curiosity, how much time do you have in on this?
